this week we had to make a power point about an asigned genocide i got Hideki Tojo. Hideki Tojo was general of the imperial Japanese army. And the 27th prime minister of Japan during world war two. During his time as prime minister he ordered the attack on Pearl harbor near Honolulu Hawaii which killed 2388 Americans. On the morning of December 7, 1941, hundreds of Japanese fighter planes attacked the American naval base at Pearl Harbor near Honolulu, Hawaii. More than two years into the conflict, America had finally joined World War II. All of this happened because the Japanese wanted to terminate the U.S so that the Pacific Fleet would not be able to impede Japan's expansion. There are people who think Pearl Harbor was sort of an inside job some people believe that the government took empty planes to the naval base and blew it all up with preplaced bombs, and it was a missile at the Pentagon. Nobody of significance actually believe this but some people do. “Yesterday, December 7, 1941 , a date that will live in infamy” were the words President Franklin D. Roosevelt gave the day after the surprise attack. Because of the surprise attack, President Roosevelt felt like there was no other choice, but to go into war. In his speech he stated that the Congress had already declared war against the Empire of Japan. The Americans put strict regulations on the Japanese-Americans, Italian-Americans, and German-Americans because they were afraid that they would have something to do with the attacks. The Congress even decided to put the Japanese-American citizens into camps to keep a closer eye on them. Everyone did everything to help. Men volunteered to fight in the war and women made stamps donate to the army get more food and essentials needed for war, and the mean who stayed behind worked in factories to make weapons. The economy boosted and everyone had more money than usual. Some would say that in all the Pearl Harbor bombing had a bitter, sweet affect. Except for not killing people, a life lesson that one can take from this is to be aware of what is going to happen to you if you're pit in a situation where you cannot get out.

wow wow wow wow wow this is crazy i cant belive we are at this point in technoloy its crazy disney has turned a metal room into a wireless charger think abot it this way When you need to charge your electronic device on the go but you cant find somewhere to plug it in some devices can already be charged without wires but researchers at The Walt Disney Company have recently created a wireless "charging room" Scientists at a branch of The Walt Disney Company called Disney Research have turned a room into a wireless charger that can charge up to 10 bataries. The researchers said they were inspired by inventor nikola tesla, who created the first system to wirelessly transmit electricity the tesla coil "What we really want is a three-dimensional charging experience, where you walk into your living room or office and your cellphone is charged simply by walking in We have a metalized room, and we're going to use standing electromagnetic waves that reverberate all around this room, providing wireless power to any devices inside." "In this work, we're demonstrating room-scale wireless power, but there's no reason we couldn't shrink this down to the size of a toy box or charging chest, or scale up to a warehouse or a large building, The new research is detailed in a study published online Feb. 15 in the journal PLOS ONE.
this week we all had to do a power point presentation on a doctor of the church asigned to us i had St. Lawrence of brindisi and he actually was a pretty intresting dude St. Lawrence of Brindisi was born Caesar de Rossi in 1559 in Naples his feast day is July 21 and he is the patron of Brindisi in Italy In venise he discerned a call to enter the Capuchin Franciscans and took the name Lawrence. he worked as a diplomat for the secular powers in Europe and as a missionary In 1596, he was commissioned by the Pope to work for the conversion of the Jewish people and to combat the spread of Protestantism. Lawrence gave advice to European generals fighting the Turks in Hungary, and even led troops into battle, armed with a crucifix. However, Lawrence is better known as a peacemaker he served as a papal emissary, attempting to negotiate peace treaties between warring kingdoms. While on a mission to negotiate a peace treaty to the king of Spain, St. Lawrence contracted a serious illness and died on his sixtieth birthday in 1619 what i find the most intresting is that he actually went into a battle armed with a crusifix but thats what ive learned about him and hes pretty cool one of his most famos quotes was “Oh, if we Where to consider this reality! in other words that god is truly present to us when we speak to him in prayer; that he truly listens to our prayers, even if we pray only with our hearts and minds. And that not only is he present and hears us, indeed he willingly and with great pleasure wishes to grant our requests” –St. Lawrence of BrindisiThe sony xperia touch is a interactive portable projector like all projectors it projects images on surfaces unlike any projector you can interact with its projections and the projection turns into a touch screen display instead of beaming images that you can watch like TV, the projected visuals essentially become a giant tablet that you can use to play games, interact with apps, and more. Whether you want to browse through one of the uses I find most interesting and useful is the ability to read and flip through the pages of books like having a cook book there well you are cooking and not having to worry about spilling on the pages games could be really fun a device that fits in your pocket yet the display is bigger than an ipads. The Sony Xperia Touch is a short-throw projector that can beam 100-lumen images up to 80 inches diagonal at 1366 x 768 resolution. Granted, that doesn’t exactly make for dazzling TV in the age of 4K, but as an oversized tablet for use at home or at work, that level of sharpness should be enough. Using an infrared light array and a 60fps camera, it facilitates 10-point touch sensitivity, so you can perform advanced gestures just like in traditional mobile devices. Features include stereo speakers, proximity sensing (so it can turn when you approach), a perforated metal finish, 32GB of onboard storage, a microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, Miracast, Bluetooth, NFC, a USB Type-C port, and an HDMI slot. It comes with a battery rated at just an hour of use, so this is likely for strict use at home or in the office. No pricing yet, but the Sony Xperia Touch will come out later in the year.
This week we had our mock trial based on "tell-tail heart" by Edgar Alan Poe basically this psychological dude killed a dude because of his "evil eye" In the mock trial I was devils advocate for the defense team so basically I tried to predict questions the prosecution team might ask to help out lawyers I'll get to the trial in a bit but I want to talk about what I wore because I looked fantastic if you ask me I wore black slacks a white dress shirt red suspenders a red, black, and grey bow tie a black blazer and to top it all of a hankie that matched my bow tie if i do say so I looked sharp and I know what your thinking that doesn't sound very professional and its not in an actual court of law you would wear a suit and tie ok so anyways back to the actual trial so the defense team tried to argue that our psychopath was innocent due to reason of insanity which was true keep in mind I'm on the defense team but it was true he was hearing things showing almost all the signs of a psychopath and we even had a psychologist come in and explain why he was psycho we did great all of our arguments where valid and we where way more prepared than the prosecution team at one point one of the girls on the prosecution side Jeanette just kind of went crazy and just completely forgot what she was arguing and started proving our point but what really made me mad is the damn jury it was a hung jury because of damn Adi Ure she was the only person who thought that the psychopath should be executed and I know that she was just trying to be annoying but whatever it was fun and that's all that matters.
this week we or i because i was a little late but what ever this week i started my historical fiction so what we had to do is take a character from to kill a mockingbird that was not expanded on and wright a story about him or her i chose Dolphus Raymond ill show you my first paragraph Good morning father how are you doing today” that’s how I woke up every day. I loved my father he was my role model that was until I found out! I was walking down the hallway when I heard a scream following a whip I creaked the door open an saw my dad whipping our help, a black lady named Jacky and when I saw it I knew it was wrong. I didn’t particularly like Jacky but she helped us and was very loyal I had no Idea why my dad was whipping her he had no good reason. I ran into the room screaming I wrapped my arms around my dad holding his whip back “run Jacky run” I cried she scurried to her feet and bolted. I pulled my dad to the ground and ran after Jacky she hadn’t gotten far when I caught up to her panting I asked her “do you know a place to hide out my dads gonna have the hole police force looking for us” her language wasn’t the best but I made out “follow me” we went south into “nigger” territory I didn’t mind the blacks staring at me I could understand why they might be curios a white boy walking with a black woman through the streets it didn’t look very normal but she got to a building it didn’t look like much but I could tell it was a church Jacky knocked and a middle aged black man opened the door and peeped his head through “reverent” Jacky said and the man looked up and at her and smiled im still working on it but let me know what you think in the comments.
ugh another current event the hardest type of blog. but my minds been blown science fiction has become reality. Princess Leia's holographic message to obi-wan in the classic film "Star Wars" inspired researchers to work toward a device that could project real-life sci-fi holograms. Now, the futuristic 3D imaging may be one step closer to reality. A team of physicists at the Australian National University invented a tiny device that creates the highest-quality hollograms ever, the scientists said. 'Study lead researcher Lei Wang, a Ph.D. student at the ANU Research School of Physics and Engineering, said he first learned about the concept of holographic imaging from the "Star Wars" movies. However, these futuristic-looking 3D images could be used for more practical ends than sending messages from a galaxy far, far away.' you may be wondering how is this helpful well according to the inventors "Photographs and computer screens display information only in 2D, limiting views to flat images. Holograms, however, allow for the storage and reproduction of all information in 3D, and the technology relies on the ability to accurately manipulate light in three dimensions" The device's ability to display the 3D holograms is only part of what makes it innovative, however, Wang said. Due to its miniature size, the invention could replace bulky camera components or help space missions by reducing the size and weight of optical systems. and that is not its only use it can also benefit artists that could possibly want to capture different angles all and all this is an ultimate device and i could definitely see it playing a big roll in the future
